The order for 110 cryogenic ball valves for the Tunisian LNG terminal has been despatched. 10 cryogenic tests to BS 6364 were carried out at Adanac covering sizes 1/2" to 14" with zero leakage observed during the tests. The cryogenic test reports for these tests can be found in the Technical Library.
Several orders have been received for 3 way L and T port ball valves. Orders for valves up to 12" 3 way T port have been received for a chemical complex in Saudi Arabia and recently an order for 3 way T port valves in sizes 3", 4" and 6" has been received for an oil installation in Baku, Azerbaijan.
A number of 1" and 1.5" 3 way L port valves were recently delivered to a power plant in Scotland. The 1.5" valves were installed as 3 pairs of valves, each pair operated by 1 common hydraulic actuator. A picture of these valves can be found in the Technical Library.

News for September 2007
Order intake continues at record levels with many orders for the offshore oil and gas industry out of Aberdeen and Baku Azerbaijan.
Several orders are requiring gas testing at low temperatures. We have ordered an environmental cabinet for cooling valves down to minus 80C to carry out these tests. In addition, the facility will include Helium leakage measurement both to atmosphere and through valve leakage.
A large consignment of valves has recently been despatched to Baku Azerbaijan comprising 2", 6" and 8" 2500lb valves c/w double piston effect seats and with hub ends. A picture of the valves can be found in the Technical Library.
The next issue of the BVAA news contains an article in conjunction with Heap and Partners detailing a recent supply of top entry metal seated ball valves to Heysham and Hartlepool nuclear power stations. A picture of these valves can also be found in the Technical Library.
